SIMONE MANFREDI

Born in Italy, Ph.D. in environmental engineering, in 2009 Simone Manfredi joined the European Commission (EC) Joint Research Centre (JRC), where he acts as project leader of the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS), the EC’s reference knowledge platform on sustainable raw materials supply and value chains. At the JRC, Simone also supports a number of projects in the area of waste management, circular economy, resource efficiency, sustainable consumption and production.
