Keynote Announcement: Hubert Rhomberg

Less Material, More Impact: How Productizing Construction Unlocks Resource Efficiency

We are pleased to announce that Hubert Rhomberg, renowned entrepreneur and sustainability innovator in the construction sector, will join the World Resources Forum 2025 as one of our keynote speakers, taking place 2–3 September 2025 in Geneva.

In his keynote, “Less Material, More Impact: How Productizing Construction Unlocks Resource Efficiency,” Hubert will explore why the conventional model of construction is no longer fit for purpose in a world of shrinking resources, labour shortages, and urgent climate demands. Drawing from CREE’s pioneering work, Rhomberg will show how industrialised, prefabricated, and timber-hybrid solutions can deliver more with less, reducing waste, emissions, and on-site disruption while enhancing sustainability, quality and aesthetics. His keynote will make the case for bold capital reallocation to real estate, positioning sustainability not as a constraint but as a driver of value, unlocking faster approvals, healthier spaces, and long-term returns.
